About The Role
Reports to: Head of Faculty - Business & Computing
Start date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities
- Deliver an ambitious Business curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE and/or BTEC qualifications
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the Business department
- Create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated, engaged
and supported to achieve their potential
Knowledge & Experience:
- Ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities
- Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum in the subject
- Knowledge & experience of
Safeguarding & Child Protection
issues
- Excellent interpersonal and
listening skills, well developed planning &
organising skills including time
management
- A clear passion for your subject and the ability to enthuse and inspire
others
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualified to at least degree level in
the subject being taught
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the U.K.
