Located in Swindon, Seven Fields Primary School is a vibrant community of 273 pupils, including a preschool and nursery. Led by Headteacher Mrs Gill Young, the school is deeply committed to nurturing independence, developing personal resilience, and instilling a well-rounded, positive attitude in their pupils.

What Do School Governors Do?

As a school governor, you will offer strategic guidance to shape the future direction of Seven Fields Primary School

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with fellow members of the Local Governing Body to plan the school's strategic direction.
Providing support and challenge to the Headteacher
Challenging existing processes to drive school improvement.

The Local Governing Body of Seven Fields Primary School meets approx 6 times a year. Meetings are scheduled for 1.5 hours from 6.00pm -7.30pm on Tuesdays. All members of our Local Governing Bodies are also expected to attend The River Learning Trust's governance training events which are approximately 3 times a year.
