You will join a supportive department, deliver engaging and ambitious Science lessons, and help students develop the knowledge, practical skills and curiosity they need to succeed. We welcome applications from teachers who can bring strong subject knowledge, high expectations and a commitment to inclusive teaching.
In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Use assessment and feedback to identify next steps and support student progress.
- Create a positive, safe learning environment where students can succeed.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, practical Science learning and the wider department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support students' achievement and wellbeing.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- holds a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS);
- has a strong understanding of their subject and what excellent teaching looks like in the classroom;
- can assess student progress effectively and use this information to plan future learning;
- builds trusted relationships with students, colleagues and families, and works collaboratively as part of a team;
- shows adaptability, patience and resilience, responding positively to feedback and always looking for ways to improve; and
- is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.
We'd also welcome applications from teachers with experience as a form tutor or familiarity with Google Workspace, though this isn't essential.
Are you ready to bring your passion for teaching and your commitment to every child's success into a school where ambition and care go hand in hand?
