Hours: 32.5 Hours/39 weeks (Term time) Monday - Friday (07.00 - 14:00)

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Temporary Catering Assistant to join our professional kitchen team. This role is key to supporting the day-to-day operation of the school catering provision and helping to ensure that high standards of food quality, hygiene and service are consistently maintained.
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Catering Manager and wider team in the preparation and serving of meals in line with School Food Standards and Trust policies. Duties will include food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen and ensuring all health and safety and hygiene requirements are met. You will contribute to the smooth running of service during busy lunch periods.
The successful candidate will work closely with kitchen colleagues, teaching staff and students to ensure a positive dining experience for all. You will be expected to demonstrate strong organisational skills, positive attitude and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment. A commitment to safeguarding, teamwork and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children and young people is essential.
