Roles and Responsibilities:
Lesson Support:
• Assist PE teachers in the preparation and delivery of Physical Education lessons.
• Set up, organize, and store sports equipment before and after classes.
• Support students during practical activities and skill development exercises.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment during lessons.
• Assist with attendance and student supervision as directed by the teacher.
Equipment and Facility Management
• Maintain , organize, and inventory sports equipment and resources.
• Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Report damaged or missing equipment to the PE Department.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining PE storage areas and facilities.
Student Supervision
• Supervise students during PE lessons, recess activities, sports practices, and events as required .
• Promote positive behavior, teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students.
• Assist students who require additional support during physical activities.
Sports and Events Support
• Assist in the organization and delivery of school sports events, tournaments, fixtures, and athletic competitions.
• Support coaches and PE staff during training sessions and competitions.
• Help with event setup, scoring, timing, equipment preparation, and pack-down.
Administrative Support
• Assist with PE department administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and communications.
• Support the preparation of notices, schedules, and event documentation.
• Help manage equipment inventories and resource tracking systems.
Skills and Attributes

• Ability to effectively deliver Physical Education (PE) lessons and provide class coverage when the assigned teacher is absent.

Health and Safety
• Follow all school health and safety procedures.
• Assist in ensuring risk assessments and safety checks are completed.
• Provide basic first aid support within the scope of training and school procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Experience working with children in an educational or sports setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Current First Aid certification (preferred).
• Fluency in English is an advantage.
