Queen Margaret University Business School is seeking a committed and engaging Lecturer to join our division, contributing to teaching, scholarship, pastoral care, and administrative activities. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, particularly within work-based learning contexts. The incumbent will ideally also have experience of teaching other management related disciplines.
You will be passionate about enhancing the student experience through a practice-focused approach that integrates theory with real-world application. Teaching responsibilities span undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on work experience, internship, and placement modules that support students in developing the skills needed for successful careers.
We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in teaching work-based learning modules. Experience of teaching related areas such as Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, and Management and Leadership would be advantageous.
A track record of engagement with industry partners is desirable, as is the ability to develop external links that enhance student placements, research opportunities, and wider professional engagement.
A collaborative and collegial approach is essential, alongside a willingness to undertake a relevant teaching qualification if not already held.
