We are seeking a motivated, organised, and supportive individual to join our Sixth Form team as a Study Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young people aged 16-18, helping them develop effective study habits, achieve their academic goals, and thrive during their post-16 education.
This is a part time position working 4 days per week (term time only). The working pattern is term-time only (38 weeks per year including inset days), and working hours are 9.15am-1.15pm 3 days per week, 9.15am - 12.15pm 1 day per week.
The successful candidate will provide academic and pastoral support, supervise independent study sessions, and encourage students to become confident, independent learners.
You will have high expectations of all students, and you will also be expected to build good relationships with children, their parents, teachers and other professionals. You will be able to use your own initiative, have good communication skills, be professional and have a high standard of education.
