MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate, plan and deliver the PSHE & RSE curriculum from Key Stage 3 to 4 to include the weekly lesson, assemblies and Drop Down Days.
To ensure the resources used are engaging, age appropriate and contextually relevant for students.
Liaise with external stakeholders including Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) contractor, to plan and deliver to students, as per the statutory guidance.
To support and train colleagues in the delivery of the PSHE curriculum, to include working with the Safeguarding team to understand contextual needs for students and address through the PSHE curriculum, as appropriate.
To support and develop a curriculum that maximises the opportunity for social development in line with EHCP outcomes and individual student targets in preparation for adulthood.
To regularly monitor the quality of the PSHE, its content and delivery model through meaningful student voice feedback.
To work in collaboration with the Assistant Principal (Personal Development) on all whole school focus days.
To liaise with the Assistant Principal (Personal Development) on quality assurance of PSHE & RSE.
To liaise with the Trust Wide Lead for Welfare and Careers around continuous improvement of personal development at Humberston Academy.

Ensure content is engaging, age-appropriate and relevant.
Strong ability to adapt curriculum creatively for different learners.
Confidence using IT effectively for teaching and administrative support.
Ability to contribute to whole-school improvement strategy beyond PSHE.
