Job Purpose
To deliver for our Year 11 cohort and ensure that they have the fundamentals to succeed, thrive and build a legacy at Bobby Moore. You will ensure that no stone is left unturned in your effort to see our young people flourish. The successful candidate will be a model of professionalism, a dynamic team player and an outstanding practitioner in the classroom and wider community.
Main areas of responsibility
To produce an annual School Strategic Plan and Action Plan for the year 11 team, monitor its delivery throughout the year and evaluate at the end of the year.
To be accountable for Year 11 outcomes, including internal KPIs and tracking/monitoring progress of scholars.
To organise and schedule intervention sessions and liaise with relevant departments for academic support.
To be aware of statutory requirements for safeguarding issues and to work closely with the school's safeguarding team to ensure that statutory procedures are followed.
To identify and ensure provision for scholars who need specific support from their form tutor, Head of Year or another professional.
To keep accurate records of referrals made and external agency involvement
To be responsible for analysing behaviour data and producing reports as appropriate, including reports to governors' exclusion panels.
To provide leadership, support and professional development to the year group team and to monitor their work.
To plan for and lead regular team meetings to share information and to monitor the quality of provision across the Year group.
To be responsible for attendance and punctuality and meet targets set, and to liaise with the Attendance Officer.
To be responsible for the admission and induction of new scholars into the year group.
