Join Our Team as a Teaching Head of Year at Lift Firth Park! Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students both academically and personally? Lift Firth Park is excited to be recruiting 2 Teaching Heads of Year. We believe that great teachers possess a unique ability to connect with students, understand their individual needs, and inspire their growth. We're looking to harness these skills to deliver exceptional teaching and provide outstanding pastoral care to our students.
This is an incredible opportunity for ambitious educators who are eager to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact. As Lift Firth Park enters an exciting phase of transformation, we are searching for dynamic individuals with the vision, determination, and passion to help shape the future of our school.
At Lift Firth Park, we are dedicated to providing an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day. What We're Looking For: - QTS and secondary school teaching experience are essential. While we are particularly interested in Maths, English, Science and Business teachers, we are open to candidates from other subject areas.
- A strong desire to contribute to change and help drive progress within the school.
- A compassionate yet resilient communicator, capable of managing student behavior, identifying individual needs, and addressing barriers to success.
- Previous pastoral experience is a plus, but not essential.
If you're ready to take on a role that blends teaching with pastoral leadership and want to be part of an exciting school transformation, we want to hear from you!
This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people. About our school: Lift Firth Park is a vibrant, mixed secondary school for students aged 11-16. Located in Shiregreen, Sheffield, we serve around 1,200 pupils and reflect a richly diverse community, with more than a third of students speaking English as an additional language.
The school is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformational change, and we are already seeing its positive impact; in the classroom, across the curriculum and throughout our culture. This is an excellent time to join our team. We are looking for individuals who share our dedication to inclusive, aspirational education and who are excited to contribute to our renewed vision and ambitious future.
