Position Title: Summer School Teacher
Reports To: summer School Coordinator / School Administration
Job Type: Full- Time - 6th – 31 st July 2026
Purpose of Role:
The British School of Almeria Summer School is designed to complement and enhance the curriculum, the role of Summer School Teacher is one that is therefore responsible for organising and delivering engaging activities in their chosen area that should cater to the diverse interests and talents of our students. The activities should provide a holistic educational experience that extends beyond the classroom which aim to create a supportive and stimulating environment where students can explore new interests and develop skills.
The purpose of the Summer School Teacher role is to deliver high-quality language instruction that supports students in developing strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a lifelong interest in language learning. Teachers are expected to uphold the School´s educational values and methodologies, fostering an engaging, motivating, and inclusive learning environment where all students can achieve their full potential.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of High School Education
Preferably a native speaker or someone with native-level fluency (due to the range of levels taught)
Experience teaching Infants/Primary and Secondary students

Ability to initiate opportunities for self and others and to find solutions to ensure tasks are completed within specified timescales
