Role OverviewRiviera Schools is hiring a Tennis Instructor for the 26-27 school year. The individual in this role will provide personalized instruction, focusing on techniques, strategies, and physical conditioning tailored to each player's level, from beginners to advanced students. Tennis classes for Riviera Preparatory School middle and high school students will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Additional Tennis Center duties are needed from Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Responsibilities & Duties- Instruction and Training: Delivering lessons and coaching sessions tailored to the skill levels and goals of individual players, groups, and classes.
- Program Development: Designing training programs that encompass technique, strategy, fitness, and mental resilience.
- Skill Assessment: Evaluating players' skills and progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting achievable goals.
- Drill Management: Organizing and leading drills and practice sessions to improve specific aspects of players' games.
- Safety and Supervision: Ensuring a safe training environment, monitoring player behavior, and enforcing facility rules.
- Communication: Maintaining open communication with players, parents, and facility management about progress, schedules, and events.
- Promoting Sportsmanship: Encouraging fair play, teamwork, and respect among players to foster a positive environment.
- Continuous Education: Staying updated on coaching techniques, industry trends, and tennis rules to enhance personal coaching skills.

Qualifications
- Coaching Certification: Certification from a recognized tennis organization (e.g., USPTA, PTR) is preferred.
Experience
- Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience within a school or educational setting.
- Coaching Experience: Previous coaching experience with all ages but mainly kids, whether in a formal setting or as a volunteer.
- Working with Various Age Groups from beginners to advanced players
