As a School Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our school premises are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. This role has an hourly rate of £12.85, plus 12.07% holiday pay, therefore the actual hourly pay is £14.40.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, halls, corridors, and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting various surfaces.
- Cleaning and restocking washroom facilities to a high standard.
- Emptying and cleaning bins, and managing waste disposal.
- Spot cleaning spillages and responding to unexpected cleaning requirements.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
- Reporting any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues to the Site Manager/Caretaker.
- Undertaking periodic deep cleans, particularly during school holidays.
Our ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, be friendly, reliable and take pride in their work.
