Working Pattern: Monday 8.30am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.40am to 3.30pm (39 Weeks)
Salary: ALT Grade F £28,142 - £30,024 FTE (Plus retention payment)
We are seeking two Level 4 Teaching Assistants, one part‑time and one full‑time, to play an important role in supporting learning across our school. Working as part of a collaborative team, the roles focus on meeting pupils' learning and personal needs through lesson cover, small‑group support and contribution to inclusive and outreach work. Using whole‑school audit findings and pupil progress information, staff adapt their approach to ensure every learner receives the right support to grow, achieve and thrive.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and adapt learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes under the supervision of a teacher.
- Provide specialist and personalised support to learners with additional needs, including SEN, medical, behavioural and personal care requirements.
- Contribute to assessment, recording and reporting of learner progress and development.
- Support the wellbeing, safety and personal development of learners, working closely with staff, families and external professionals.
- Take a proactive role within the staff team, including supervising or directing other teaching assistants where required.
