Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week, 52.142 weeks per year)
Salary: ALT Grade E - £26,196.00 to £27,255.00

About the role: As the Site Team Leader, you will be the key operational lead responsible for the daily supervision and direction of the Site Team (Caretaking, Housekeeping, and Cleaning staff). The primary objective of this role is to ensure a proactive, highly visible presence across the college site, driving prompt resolution of maintenance issues, ensuring up-to-date compliance checks, and inspiring the team to actively identify and address potential hazards before they escalate.
This role requires the postholder to have a valid driving licence.
The Ideal Candidate will have:- A background in caretaking, facilities support, or site maintenance within a large environment (school experience is beneficial).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leading capacity.
- A demonstrated ability to undertake a range of minor repairs and maintenance tasks ('handyperson' skill set).
- A basic understanding of Health and Safety requirements related to premises and maintenance work.
