Exwick Heights Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Assistant to be part of our brilliant Early Years team. This is a full-time (32.5 hours per week/38 weeks per year), permanent position starting as possible. The salary scale is Grade B - FTE £24,796/ Pro Rata £18,253

This is an exciting time to join our Early Years team, with our new Nursery now open and growing rapidly alongside a thriving Pre-School. Our Early Years provision is based in a beautiful, purpose-built building, equipped with brand-new furniture, toys and high-quality resources, creating an inspiring and nurturing environment for young children. You would be joining a fantastic, dedicated team who truly care about meeting the individual needs of every child and are committed to giving each child the very best start to their school journey.
We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant who: - Is passionate about early childhood development and creating nurturing, stimulating learning environments
- Understands the importance of early years education in closing gaps and ensuring future success
- Builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Is proactive, organised, and driven by the desire to make a difference
We would welcome applications from candidates who: - Hold a Level 2 qualification and are willing to work towards achieving a Level 3 qualification through the evidence-based route, which can be completed on the job, or
- Do not currently hold a childcare qualification but are keen to train and work towards one while gaining practical experience.
