Job Purpose To maintain the Sports Pavilion and associated areas in a hygienic and satisfactory condition according to work schedules and set standards. Please note this role involves loan working which may not be suitable for everyone.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities To carry out daily cleaning duties as required, working to daily schedules and checklists within the Sports Pavilion & associated areas. To ensure that all tasks within the Sports Pavilion and associated areas are completed to the required standard. To maintain all washroom facilities in a hygienic condition according to set standards. To ensure that C.O.S.H.H regulations relating to any cleaning product are adhered to. To undertake deep-cleaning activities and any other periodic tasks as required. To carry out duties in line with the College's safeguarding protocols and procedures. To report any maintenance defects with equipment and within the working environment to the line manager for further action/ investigation. To be of smart appearance and appropriately dressed in the uniform provided. To be aware of responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. To ensure adherence to Safeguarding protocols and other relevant regulations. i.e. Fire Precautions, Manual Handling, C.O.S.H.H. etc. To attend all mandatory and relevant training as required by the Head of Facilities or designate. To be aware of the security requirements and the implications of strangers on campus. To adopt a flexible approach to the role and undertake any other reasonable task as requested. i.e. support porters team and internal/ external events.

Terns and Conditions - Salary: £10,818 per annum
- Hours: 15 hours per week Monday to Saturday from 6am to 8.30am (some flexibility to cover for school events i.e. Open Mornings/ Founders Day)
- Holidays: The holiday entitlement is a total of 28 days paid holiday per annum including bank holidays increasing by 1 day per annum to a maximum of 33 days per annum following 5 years continuous service inclusive of bank holidays and pro rata for part time working.
- Pension: The College operates the Epsom College Automatic Enrolment Scheme. The Scheme is administered by the Pensions Trust. Eligibility is based on statutory criteria. If eligible, the Employee will be required to contribute a minimum of 5% of Basic Salary and the College will contribute 4% in compliance with current pension regulations.
