Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for two Wellbeing Support Assistants to join the Schools on a permanent basis. The positions will be available from November 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The roles are term-time, full-time working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £24,614. One of the roles will be based in the Junior School at Queensferry Road and the other will be based at Mary Erskine School at Ravelston.
The Wellbeing Support Assistant provides reactive and planned support to specific children or groups with pastoral needs across the Junior, Middle and Senior School, facilitating their wellbeing and integration into school activities.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people. Experience of working with children with additional needs and supporting teaching staff in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
