About Us

Welcome to The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School

I’m delighted to welcome you to HTS — one of only two co-educational, voluntary-aided Church of England secondary schools in West Sussex.

With over 50 years of history and a reputation for excellence, we are a thriving, oversubscribed 11–18 school, serving the diverse, multi-faith and multi-cultural community of Crawley and three local deaneries.

At the heart of everything we do is our Christian ethos. We believe that every person is a child of God — created in His image, uniquely gifted and deeply valued. At Holy Trinity, we nurture those gifts and talents so that every member of our community can flourish and fulfil their potential in all areas of life.

Our Vision

Our vision is lived out through four core values, which underpin all we do:

  • Dignity — recognising and honouring the worth of every individual.
  • Community — building strong, caring relationships and living well together.
  • Wisdom — encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
  • Hope — inspiring ambition and a positive vision for the future.

Explore Our School

Our website is full of information about what we offer. Whether you’re applying for a place — in Year 7 or Sixth Form — or interested in joining our staff team, you’ll find everything you need under the Join HTS section.

To discover what life is like at HTS, visit the Life at HTS page. You can also explore:

  • Curriculum — details of what and how we teach.
  • Support — how we care for and guide students and parents.
  • Sixth Form — opportunities and pathways beyond Year 11.
  • Newsletter — the latest news, events, and weekly updates.

Investing in the Future

We are excited to be working with the Department for Education on a once-in-a-generation rebuilding project that will transform our campus. Starting on-site in Autumn 2025, over two-thirds of our estate — 67% — will be rebuilt, and the rest upgraded to the same high standard. This ambitious project will create a state-of-the-art learning environment designed to inspire, support, and empower every member of our community for years to come.

A Special Place

We are proud of our ethos, high standards, and the care we show for every individual. We believe young people deserve the best education alongside values that will guide them through life — and we are committed to providing both.

Holy Trinity is a very special place, and it is my privilege to lead it. I am proud of our students, our dedicated staff, and the supportive governors and parents who together create such a strong and vibrant community.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us or arrange a visit — we’d love to welcome you in person.
