About Us

Colegio Menor Samborondon opened its doors in 2013. Following the success of the Colegio Menor Quito which has been in operation for the past twenty years, the Founders of Colegio Menor decided to open a branch in Ecuador's second . Colegio Menor Samborondon is located in Ecuador's second largest province, Guayas. Considered to be one of the top private schools in Ecuador. The school currently has some 1000 students from Playgroup (3 year olds) to Grade 12 (18 year olds). The school graduates its first class of seniors by February 2022. The school is a secular school based on a liberal arts model of education. The focus is on a values based curriculum with a strong emphasis on music and the arts. Children in the early years section have a full immersion programme in English. From Grade one upwards, the instruction is 70% in English and 30% in Spanish. The school is located in a safe, suburban part of the city known as Samborondon. We have our own purpose to build facility with large, bright, well equipped classrooms and lots of space for children to play.
